Founded in 2006, by registered optometrist and current CEO Colin Kangisser, The Optical Company (TOC) is a vertically integrated optical group specialising in optometry services, eyewear distribution and retail within Australia.

We are proactive with leading health fund partnerships across our dynamic portfolio - continuing to grow a strong retail network with over 50 stores across the group.  TOC's retail brands include NIB Eye Care, Kevin Paisley, Optical Warehouse, Kosmac & Clemens, The Eye Place, Lanigans, LensPro, Stacey & Stacey Optometrists including our own The Optical Co. stores.

Our retail locations are distinguished by expert dispensers and passionate optometrists, with a customer-first approach. We offer premium quality eyewear and vision testing for all ages, with the option to also include retinal photography and OCT services for comprehensive consultations on your eye health.

August 2021 saw the launch of the first audiology services within the group, with Kevin Paisley Hearing hubs established co-located at Kevin Paisley Optometrists locations.
