The Optical Co has arrangements with most Australian private health funds, allowing you to claim your optical rebate which is dependent on your level of cover when purchasing glasses, prescription sunglasses or contact lenses.

Optical covers are usually effective for a 12-month period and on December 31, any benefits that you have paid for and have not used will expire at end of the 12 month period.
